歴史 Church History

  

Many Prayers:

横須賀グレイスバイブルチャーチの始まりはレイ･マーサー、さとみ夫妻が横浜グレイスバイブルチャーチの協力牧師だったころ横須賀市に引っ越してきたことから始まりまた。横須賀に住む日本人に伝道するために教会が必要だというヴィジョンが与えられました。  

Yokosuka Grace Bible Church was started when Pastor Ray and Satomi Mercer moved from Yokohama, where they had ministered as associate pastors in Yokohama Grace Bible Church, to Yokosuka with a goal of planting a new church to reach the Japanese community there.  

  

横浜グレイスバイブルチャーチのメンバーは何年もの間教会が始まることを願い、祈り礼拝を続けてきました。このことによって教会開拓の土台ができました。  

The members of Yokohama Grace Bible Church had been desiring to plant a new church in Yokosuka and had been meeting there for prayer and worship in the city for many years. This layed a strong spiritual foundation in the city.  

2006年12月／2007年1月

DECEMBER-2006 / JANUARY-2007:

マニラでの教会開拓のトレーニングを終え、レイマーサー夫妻は日本でエブリネイションの教会をどこに開拓するべきか祈っていました。横須賀で小グループとともに何ヶ月か祈り、伝道していく中で2006年12月、日本のエブリネイションの教会のサポートの元に正式に教会が始まりました。12月10日、160人以上の人たちが横須賀市文化会館に集まり新しい教会の初礼拝を行いました。  

On returning from their church-planting training at Victory Church in Manila, Ray and Satomi Mercer began to seek the Lord’s guidance about where to plant a new Every Nation Church in Japan. After meeting with believers in Yokosuka in small groups for several months and holding prayer meetings, and outreaches, the new Yokosuka church was officially launched in December of 2006 with support from several Every Nation Churches in Japan. Over 160 believers from all over Japan gathered for a special evening Christmas service on December 10th, 2006 at Yokosuka Culture Hall to launch the new church.  

  

2007年の1月には横須賀市内の会館を借り、20人ほどの信者によって礼拝がもたれるようになりました。  

In January of 2007 the new church began holding regular Sunday meetings in various rented halls in downtown Yokosuka. The first service on the morning of January, 7th 2007 saw 20 believers gather to worship the Lord. These 20 believers were the beginning of a new church.  

2008年1月　JANUARY-2008:

その一年後市内の三春町のビルの4階を借りることができ40人ほどのメンバーで礼拝を持つようになりました。京急堀の内の駅の近くで県立大学のそばという便利な場所です。  

One year later the church had grown to about 40 and, in January, moved into the first permanent location in Miharu-cho, Yokosuka, a neighborhood located near the local University and conveniently near the main Keikyu train line at Horinouchi Station and Route 16 (an eight minute walk from the station, across from McDonald’s on Route 16).  

  

そして今神の愛を横須賀に伝えるべく活動しています。  

Now the church is focusing on reaching out into the Yokosuka community with the love of God. We believe that we have the answers for those who are in spiritual darkness. We have joy for those who are in sadness. And we have eternal life in Jesus for anyone who believes.

信仰声明 What We Believe

  There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• 私たちの主イエス・キリストは神である 処女から生まれた罪のない人生を送った、奇跡を行った、私たちの罪のあがないのため、身代わりとなり血を流された、死からの復活昇天され、父なる神の右におられる、栄光と力をもって、再びこの地に来られる
  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
• 失われた罪深い人類の救い、聖霊による新生
  We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
• クリスチャンの中で働かれる聖霊の力によって敬虔で祝福ある生活をすることができる
  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
• 聖霊のバプテスマと聖霊の賜物を用いる
  In the baptism with the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.
• 救われた者は永遠のいのちを得て復活し、失われた者は永遠の裁きに入る
  In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
• 主イエス・キリストにある信者の霊的な一致
  In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

紀元後３２５年のニケア使徒信条と、４５１年のカルケドン信条を信じる
We also embrace and adopt the Nicean Creed of AD325 and Chalcedonian Creed of AD451.
